My Weight Management For 2017

So 2017 is upon us all and in full force! Like many of you out there, the beginning of the year is usually the time of year that I am most productive and motivated to make changes in my life. I spent some time in January thinking about my past, present and future and made a few notes about my accomplishments and failures. This process is really useful for me, it allows me to get all the rubbish out of my head and onto a piece of paper where I can see it. Once I have done this, it almost feels as if a weight has been lifted and I can now see things clearly again.

Weight Management

One topic that comes up year after year is weight management or weight loss. I prefer the term weight management these days because to be honest, I have lost a lot of weight and now its more about managing myself and my body. So for example, I want to be a bit more toned these days so I will try to build some more muscle around my frame. This means I need to think about changing my gym routine slightly so that I can begin to include more weights into my workouts, plus I will probably do more classes such as body pump or even yoga – I heard that’s great for toning up!

One thing that I am keeping consistent with is my Garcinia Cambogia 🙂

I find that it really helps me stick to my diet and keep away all those annoying hunger bugs that creep up on me during the course of any given day. Along with the Garcinia, I will also be adding a protein shake to my diet to help with the bit of muscle building that I plan on doing. This will hopefully aid with my recovery as well, I noticed that I get really stiff when doing any weights.

I have thought about doing Crossfit! I see all of the Crossfit athletes on TV and on Youtube and they look really amazing! So strong, so much power 0 I wish I could be like that and I guess I can if I put my mind to it. To begin with, Ill see how the weight training in the gym goes and then maybe bump it up to Crossfit, if anyone has tried and has any recommendations please leave a comment!

So 2017 looks like it will be a good year for me, I hope it does for you as well. With a little bit of planning and a lot of dedication and motivation I think it might be my most successful year yet! One thing I have found is that if I stick to a good workout routine, I feel a lot confident and motivated to accomplish other things in my life – its amazing what a difference a healthy body and mind has on our lives 🙂
